@lsantacrz,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

The maximum RAM that could be installed in your OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-b1000 is 2 x 32GB of DDR5 PC5-38400, 4800 MHz, Non-ECC, SODIMM, 262-pin RAM modules.

References: HP HP OMEN 16-b1000 | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial UK, and: OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-b1000 series specifications | HP® Support.

There are no capacity limits for your M.2 NVMe SSDs, only your budget restraints.

Kind Regards,

@lsantacrz,

There should be no discrepancies.  CPU-Z shows your RAM memory at half speed because it is the real operating frequency of your memory module.

Show me your Task Manager's Memory (RAM) Performance data, like so:

If Task Manager says 4800 MHz, you are good to go.

Hi, I'M SORRY

I forgot to ask if I can change the RAM Memory from 2x32GB 4800 MHz to 2x32GB 5200 MHz ?

HP Recommended

@lsantacrz,

You could, but it will down throttle "bridge" to 4800 MHz, as this is the fastest (any) RAM can run on the OMEN by HP Laptop 16-b1xxx systems, as you can see here: UserBenchmark: HP OMEN by HP Laptop 16-b1xxx Compatible Components.
