I would like to know what the maximum temperature an OMEN HP 17 - an0xx could handle, since its been getting scalding hot when I play high-end games. I have tried to disable turbo boost, which decreases the temperature, but my gaming experience as well.

@BlizzLit, welcome to the forum.
If you are running an Intel i5-xxxx processor it is recommended to keep it under 80C. You can go to the video card manufacturer's website to see what they recommend for their card.
You may want to consider using a laptop cooler to help with the temps. You can look at a page of them in the link that I furnished.
Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.
