Another update: I am now on my Tuxedo Laptop as of writing this. Again, I'm kind of sad that HP didn't take action regarding all of this. I honestly hope that people that are affected get their money back because this is unacceptable in my opinion.

I reiterate that I will probably update this forum post with another follow-up reply if I happen to fix the fan control issue when I go back to France.

I’m going to try to contact directly HP in Argentina to see if I get a solution or at least a response (I'm waiting for them to reply an email to see if they'll receive me at their offices) … but from this experience I’ve learned that HP’s entire structure is set up to avoid dealing directly with customers or taking responsibility for this kind of problems. They know perfectly well which devices have failed, they know who the owners are, and even so they still don’t give us an answer.

I can tell you the BIOS Version did not change a thing, I got an old one from 2023 and have the issue too. I have a AMI F.08 10.08.2023. I will update to newest now (F.13.) but expect nothing to change.

I have the: OMEN 17.3 inch Gaming Laptop PC 17-ck2000 (70W99AV) and this problem came after 2 years out of nowhere and all the normal steps didnt solve the problem.

Just started today, almost **bleep** myself. Decided to clean out the dust, thinking "that's a normal thing to do".

Didn't do a **bleep** thing. Found this forum thread via reddit and glad I did.
