OMEN CC Key not working
08-29-2020 11:42 PM

Hello,
after upgrading to Windows 10 2004 the CC key on my keyboard does not open the Command Center anymore.
Only after I manually start the "HP Event System Event Utility" the CC opens.
Things I have tried:
- Using the latest HP drivers
- Reinstalling the programs
- Enabling autostart
- Using the "ResetCC" tool posted in the forums
Problem persists.
Regards

I reviewed your post and I understand that the Omen key is not working after upgrading to Windows 2004.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
What is the product number of your computer?
Meanwhile, I recommend you uninstall the Omen command center and the HP event utility and then download and install it from Microsoft store and check whether the issue is resolved.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

As you may have noticed, two of these problems are easily resolved, whereas the other two require a bit more work. To complicate matters further, any repair action that requires you to open your laptop will differ depending on the manufacturer MyCardStatement
