OMEN Laptop 15-ek1017TX displayed as "OMEN Laptop 15-ek1xxx

Hi,

Issue 1:

I recently purchased OMEN Laptop 15-ek1017TX, so after a few days there was a bios update and after that when I opened my Hp Support Assistant my laptop was mentioned as OMEN Laptop 15-ek1xxx. Is this normal? Or is this an issue.

Issue 2:

Since day 1 I have bought this machine the power brick gets VERY HOT! It is not touchable. Is this normal? Since this the first gaming laptop that I have bought as the other laptops that I own don't have this issue with their power bricks, they are simply warm to touch. But in case of OMEN Laptop 15-ek1017TX the power brick is untouchable!

Any help and suggestions will be appreciated.

A1. It is normal OMEN Laptop 15-ek1xxx is for the series and OMEN Laptop 15-ek1017TX is for the actual product. Some Omen machines on the same series do not have same base specs.

A2. Its specs

       which shows it has 200 W Smart AC power adapter. It should be warmer than lower wattage chargers but should be not too hot. My Omen machine also has 200 W Smart AC power adapter but I can touch to it.
