How many SSD slots does the OMEN Laptop 15-en0xxx have?

Hi:

 

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that there is support for two M.2 NVMe SSD's.

you sent a manual for the en0000 is that the exact same as the en0xxx but just censored or something?

The service manual is for your notebook's model series.

 

The 15-en0xxx model series NVMe SSD slot is PCIe Gen 3.0.

 

While a Gen 4 SSD will work, it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds.

 

The most speed you will get out of a Gen 3 SSD slot is in the vicinity of 3,500 MBPS.

i have a kingston kc3000 4.0 and it doesn’t seem to press down when i’m trying to install it, it seems like the ssd doesn’t s too fat and there’s something that is in the way of it.

If it has memory chips on both sides of the circuit board, it won't fit.

 

You have to use a single sided NVMe SSD.

 

If it is a single sided NVMe SSD as most of them are, then I wouldn't know why it is not installing correctly.
