OMEN 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The OMEN Light Studio always runs and constantly takes 4-6% of the CPU. It's the most resource hungry process in idle mode.

It is disabled in the start-up list but despite this it starts every time.

Why is it running? Why does it take 4-6% CPU? How can I stop it running?

I don't want to open task manager and kill it every time when I start the laptop.

Thanks

Hi@NazarFedorych, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Apologize for the issue with the omen Light Studio. lets try a few troubleshooting steps to fix the issue.

  .

Try updating the BIOS and chipset driver on your PC and check if it helps.

1.Updating the BIOS  & Windows updated

2.Download GEFORCE EXPERIENCE updates the gaming drivers.

You can try updating the drivers using HP support assistant.

Refer this article to know more information about using HP support assistant.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thank you for trying to help, I appreciate it.

I've updated both the BIOS and gaming drivers but it didn't help.

I uninstalled the OMEN Light Studio.

Unfortunately it is true omen light studio uses too much cpu for me too, but I discovered that it does so only when I use the ambient effect, using other effects not from high consumption problems, I hoped this problem would be solved but after months there is still .
