Hello, I am from India - Gurugram(Haryana). Pincode - 122011.

I purchased HP Omen 16 laptop from Amazon.in website in a sale: ( www.amazon.in/gp/product/B0C2D1P9F8 )

Date purchased: 1 May, 2023

 

The issue I am facing right now is, the right side fan (when looking at keyboard front) or left side fan (when looking from back of laptop), is making "Rattling/Grinding/Noise/Vibrating" at random times as of now. It was rare few months ago, but it keeps becoming frequent.

I suspect however it was designed, it has a flaw, the fan wears out faster than normal. I had checked(opened the laptop) that it had more looseness, when I tried to move the fan. It accumulates more dust in it and the ball bearings in it get multiple paths to go and one of those paths in the one that is causing the rattling.

 

I was able to research and figure out that there is a common issue with the laptops that have this fan kit installed.

This is the name of Fan Kit: N14087-001

I need help to get this part, I am capable enough to change it on my own.

 

Can someone help me how can I do that if at all.
