My uncle bought a used gaming computer and doesn't know the first thing about computers, let alone one as advanced as this one. Long story short, he started hitting buttons, and somehow deleted the Windows OS. Now, I'm not completely ignorant when it comes to devices, but this is beyond my skill level. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello @SheRockzMySox05

Not sure what your Uncle did, but if Windows wont start, you can always go to the HP Recovery and reinstall.

With the computer off and plugged in to power, press the power button and rapidly tap F11.

It should take you to Troubleshooting options so you can navigate to the recovery.

Heres the long version (click on the link).

Recovery when Windows 10 does not start correctly

Let me know if I can help further.

Thank you so very much Photoray002!! In the process of recovering the software now. And I don't know what he did, but I was certain he didn't completely lose his OS.  I knew the file had to be there somewhere.. Again, thank you..
