Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

 

I recently bought this gaming laptop and notice that the battery life is really bad even I have lowered the display brightness and turned off unused apps. It seems that it cannot last more than 3 hours without needing to plug in the power adaptor again. The adaptor is also very hot if I keep it plugged in.

 

Anyone else encountered similar issues?

A typical HP Omen machine has 70Wh battery and it may use up to 150W for a long time. You can work out how long the battery would last.

 

I have 100 or so photos to work on tomorrow and I will use my Omen, I will check it. it sit around 1.5m from me but I will bring it closer.
