I've bought this laptop for over a year now and I've always noticed it being hotter than usual, but I've never tried to measure it or search it up until my friend touched my laptop.
I just knew that going over 90 °celsius is overheating, and my OMEN15 can reach as high as 100°celcius when gaming on default mode.
When it's idle, it can still hover from 50°-75°. Mostly around 68°
It's not a something that occurred over time because I had this when I first bought it but didn't realize it was a problem.

I had this issue when I first bought it last year, but didn't think it was a big deal because I didn't know the exact temperature.
I didn't change any hardware. I don't know what software-related changes could affect this so I'm unsure.
I've updated to the latest driver

I've seen the links and tried the ones I could. I do not have HP cool control nor HP command center on my device for some reason as they don't appear in the search box, is it not available for Omen laptops ? I have yet to clean the fans and I'll do it as soon as the canned air arrives from mail. I don't think it's all because of the fan because one year without cleaning isn't really that long, I placed it on flat surfaces in a clean environment. I've had several gaming laptops in the past for years that I've never cleaned and they never get overheated. Also as I've said in the first post that I had this issue at the start when I first bought it. I personally think it's an internal issue or something wrong with the Cpu since my GPU temperature is pretty normal.

If the applications are not present in your system, you can skip that part.
Also, please perform the steps shared and let me know the outcome. Sometimes, a fan can cause issues with your system.
Let me know the outcome of it.
