Last week my laptop kept locking up ocassionally. It turns off the screen, keyboard and system but the board itself never shuts off. It still spins the fans regularly and never cools down. Its not overheating, just always warm. I was unplugging and plugging back the thunderbolt cable when it did this before. Woke up after a few tries so I thought this was a Driver issue. However today I was only using the laptop itself with just an earbuds listening to music. It shut down again and now does not come back. I've tried PRAM/NVRAM reset but since the laptop doesnt even turn off completely Im not able to. While writing this the fans burst up a few times and stopped.

The symptoms you've described—locking up, shutting down but not fully powering off, the fans running without cooling down, and the inability to fully reset—suggest there could be a problem with the internal power management or a hardware failure.
Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Disconnect the laptop from any external devices and the power adapter.
- Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to fully discharge any residual power.
- Reconnect the power adapter (without any external devices) and try turning on the laptop.
Check for Physical Damage or Loose Connections:
- Inspect the power port, charging cable, and Thunderbolt port for any signs of damage or loose connections.
- If possible, open the laptop (if you're comfortable doing so) to check for any obvious signs of damage or loose internal connections, especially around the motherboard and battery.
Attempt a Power Drain:
- If your laptop has a removable battery, remove it, disconnect the power adapter, and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
- Reinsert the battery, plug in the charger, and try turning the laptop on.
Test with an External Monitor:
- Connect your laptop to an external monitor using HDMI or another video output. This can help determine if the issue is related to the display or GPU.
BIOS/UEFI Recovery:
- If your laptop doesn't fully boot but you can access the BIOS/UEFI, try resetting it to default settings.
