My Omen 16-c0002dx suddenly shut off while I was playing a game. Now it won’t turn on and it will no longer charge.
The game was not a graphics-intensive and the laptop and power supply didn’t feel any hotter than usual. I’ve tried holding the power button for over a minute, disconnecting battery and removing each stick of ram individually to see if it would turn on. Nothing has worked. Is it possible the charger itself crapped out? It just doesn’t seem like any of the other things are faulty unless it’s the battery itself.

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Enter UEFI Diagnostics:
- Press and hold the Power button to completely turn off the laptop.
- Press the Power button again and immediately start pressing the Esc key repeatedly until the startup menu appears.
- In the menu, press F2 to enter the UEFI Diagnostic tool.
Run the Diagnostics:
- Once in the UEFI Diagnostics menu, select System Tests.
- You can choose the Quick Test (which will test essential components like the battery, storage, and RAM) or Full System Test (for a more detailed hardware check).
- Let the test complete, and it will report any issues found with hardware components.
