My windows self-updated from version 1909 to 2004. This caused windows update to automatically download the Realtek 6.0.9018.1 driver to the system. The DTS extension has also been updated to 1.1.3.1 and DTS software 1.2.0.0.
My system works correctly with Realtek 6.0.8950.1 audio driver and DTS audio effects component 1.1.1.0.
The Omen audio control program has also been updated. I cannot figure out what is incompatible with what, but my sound is distorted and any rollback of the 9018 driver to 8950 or an attempt to install it by removing all driver programs beforehand leads to the fact that the DTS extension version 1.1.3.1 and not 1.1.0.2 in the installation information. Omen audio control application became version 1.12.219.0
Which one was before, I don't know, but now the sound is unacceptable, since the application settings allow you to select only three sound enhancement modes (circle, front and traditional), but none of them solve the problem of incorrect sound reproduction.
In the device manager in the events there is a sequence of actions: setting up the 8950 driver (oem11), setting up DTS extension 1.1.0.2 (oem75), setting 9018 (oem89), once again setting 9018 (oem90), setting DTS extension 1.1.3.1 (oem99) and finally launch hd audio (oem11)
Why does a different driver appear during the installation process?
The complete removal of the device and its programs leads to the fact that the universal audio driver is installed, but after a couple of seconds it is updated to the realtek 9018.
I have no idea where the Windows update installed this 9018 after downloading, but I can't remove it from the system in any way. Previously, I just rolled back the system to 1909 and blocked the Windows update, now more than 10 days have passed and there is no return. Moreover, an attempt to remove the cumulative update resulted in the system being updated to 2009

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
Firstly, perform Windows Update and HP Support Assistant: (do not skip any troubleshooting steps if you feel steps are repeating)
To check for updates now, select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and select Check for updates.
Install updates from HP Support Assistant: Go to Download HP Support Assistant to install the tool.
- To open HP Support Assistant, double-click the HP Support Assistant icon

- Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
- Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
- Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
- Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
- Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
