Omen by HP 17-an012dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an omen 17-an012dx. The omen command center on it with keyboard macros and network booster was working fine until i purchased the omen reactor mouse and mind frame headset (the one with the ear cooling). Now the omen command center button no longer works and the command center has been updated and only shows the new mouse and new headset. The network booster and keyboard macros / cpu and gpu temps page are all gone. It is as if there were two different command centers and now i only can use the one for the reactor mouse and mind frame headset. I would like the original back or both of them to sync into one app as they should have. If i cant use the both command centers i will have to refund the 220 dollars for the new mouse and headset as it has removed the command center features for this laptop. Did I mention the button does not work either.

@Damnation,

Thank you for posting your query on HP Support Community,

Let's uninstall the Omen command center from Control panel - program and features and then reinstall it from Windows store.

  1. Click the Windows Store icon in the system tray.

  2. Search for OMEN Command Center.

  3. Click Update.

Wait while the program downloads and installs.

  4. Click Play.

    OMEN Command Center opens.

You could also try to install HP System Event Utility - Click here to download and install.

If you have any issues downloading any update, I would suggest here is to Run Windows Updates troubleshooter -

Download and install the troubleshooter from this link.

Now try to perform Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Also, download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.

Refer this link to know how to use HP support assistant.

Once done, restart the computer.

Let me know how it goes!
