The Omen Command Center will no longer open and the dedicated command center key does not work either. I have tried restarting, I've tried uninstalling the app and redownloading from the microsoft store. I have tried uninstalling the app then downloading the SDK package from this link the reinstalling the app but that didnt do anything either. I have made sure both Windows and the HP drivers are up to date and have run out of options. Can anyone help?
As it stands I cant change the performance settings or the keyboard back lights as this is only manageable through the Omen Command Center.
For info I have the HP Omen 15-dc1011na - configuration: Intel Core i7-8750H, 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD + 256GB SSD, GeForce RTX 2070 Max Q.

Hello @samward
I see you have two separate drives on your system.
See if your Windows Store apps default location is still on the C drive, or if it was changed to something like D drive. They need to be on C drive.
This website should give you some insight on how to move it...

Also open Services and scroll down to HP Omen HSA and make sure the service is set to Running Automatic.
If that isnt working, Im not sure what happened on your system. Installing to the default C drive and then forcing Windows updates installs some necessary HP HID class drivers needed. Other than that, I am at a loss.
The Omen Key on the other hand is a glitch that HP knows about and has not found a fix for.
In the most desperate case, all I could recommend is doing an HP Factory Recovery and starting over. That would be up to you of course.

Hiya, thank you for replying, unfortunately yes the Windows Store app default location is still the C Drive and the HP Omen HSA is set to running automatic. The laptop is less than a week old so I can factory reset it if needed but keen to try and solve it before resorting to that! How do you know HP is aware of the problem by the way? I havent been able to find any solid info about the problem online.
Thanks again for your assistance!
