I just purchased an Omen 15-CE198WM and ran all the windows and drivers updates. Just like everyone else (as my searches online have found) my Omen Command Center now won't open. The pop-up window opens with the logo, then after a few seconds I get "Please update your drivers for the best experience. Select Check for Updates in your Windows settings." Then there is a button below this with "Go to Windows Update".
I've tried updates to everything I can find. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Command Center. I've been on the HP support site and auto-detected my laptop and checked the list of software for updates and updated there. I tried the Omen Command Center SDK Package download. I've tried updates through the HP Support Assistant. A bunch of stuff updated but nothing to do with the Command Center. I've tried everything I've been able to find online but obviously I'm missing something. I've spent hours just updating stuff and trying to make the Command Center work. I'm rather frustrated at the moment. What do I have to do to make the Omen Command Center work again? I haven't even installed one program on the computer yet. I've just been trying to get it updated and I'm already having issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

UPDATE: I stepped away from the computer for a few hours to do other things. When I returned, I tried the Command Center again. Still only gave me an indication to update Windows drivers. So, I went to Windows update to double check for any additional updates. There shouldn't have been any because it indicated earlier that everything was up to date after the long series of updates it did do. But, there were about 8 more udates showing. So, after these additional updates installed and the computer restarted yet again, I tried the Command Center. The pop-up screen displayed and actually showed the licencing info that you have to accept in order to run the software. Software license accepted and............it opened!!
So, I guess that the last batch of updates Windows ran fixed the issue. I don't know why these updates didn't show earlier in the day after the larger batch of updates that were installed. Overall, I spent about 5-6 hours in 2 days updating Windows and related computer drivers, etc. (I don't have a super fast internet.) It works again. Now I can get down to business and try out a game.
