Omen Gaming Hub and Lightning settings problem...

HP Omen 15 1006nf
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Each time I open the Omen Gaming Hub, they ask me to install a new update because I'm using an "obsolete" version.

But when I click on "Update now", it puts me directly on the Microsoft store and there is no option to further update the application:

And when I click on launch, it puts the same message...

 

Now if I click on the "Cancel" option, I can access the Hub (Vers. 11.9.4.0) and I'm experiencing another problem ; after I change lighting settings in the Omen Command Center and click the "Apply" button, the keyboard backlight and laptop "lid" lighting works as I expect, until I sleep or restart the laptop.  After sleep/restart, my lighting settings are not retained.

 

This laptop is brand new, I baught it yesterday, I did every windows and software update I had to do, and it never worked correctly for me, I can't find any way to to search for new updates in the Omen Command Center directly, here is how my screen looks like:

Any advice on what could be happening here?

@DoubleToz 

 

You have to use Windows Store and search for Omen Gaming Hub. System will allow you to Update when your machine is at lower version of OGH software.

 

Does your machine have 4-zones keyboard ? Please use the following Guide

Hello,

First of all thank you very much for your fast response, it's very kind of you.

 

Unfortunately, even if I access directly the store, it doesn't seem like there is any updates available.

My laptop is 100% 4-RGB lightning available, and the guide doesn't explain how to save the settings. Any other solution you might have?

Can you see Active Profile window on the top (right hand side) . You can create a new profile and SAVE it when get out.
