HP Omen Sequencer

Hello, I updated my PC motherboard and I reinstalled windows as a result. Now I cannot open the Gaming hub app no matter what I do. I always get the same error:

Radu23_1-1706884236569.png

Drivers and windows updates are the latest. I tried all Hp SDK drivers with no luck. Something messing with the app.

Currently I cannot use my keyboard (hp omen sequencer) to its full potential (no custom lights/no macros).

I already uninstalled, restarted, an reinstalled the omen app. Also used the repair and reset from app settings and still nothing.

Please help.

Ok, found the reason for the error. Why is nobody talking about this ?!

The issue is incorrect windows version/type. Apparently I had windows 10 enterprise N. And N version comes with all media features striped down. Meaning crucial features needed for Omen are not installed by default (TBH do not know what exactly). In the end I reinstalled the non N version of windows and finally it worked.

Why does the error not indicate that is misses certain components. This would at least hint what is the issue. I have spent more than a week running in circles to solve the issue.
