Device Status Message in Device Manager: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". I've updated the driver both via windows and via NVidia's GEforce Experience and it still does not work.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
- Have you made any hardware/software changes?
While you respond to that, let's try these steps:
Use the following instructions to open the Component Tests menu in Windows.
-
In Windows, search for HP PC Hardware Diagnostics for Windows and select Run as administrator.
If this app is not on your computer, download the latest version from the HP Hardware Diagnostics website.

-
On the main menu, click Component Tests.
-
Click the plus sign next to each component to expand the selection.
Your Component Tests menu might be different, depending on the components installed on your computer.

Choose Video Memory Check - attempts to detect onboard graphic devices and retrieval of video memory information. This includes the base address and video memory size.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
