Hello everyone,

I am opening this thread to request an urgent update regarding a known BIOS firmware issue that is completely blocking access to certain games on high-end Omen devices.

I currently own an HP Omen Max 16 with an RTX 5080, running the latest available BIOS (version F.22). Currently, I am entirely unable to play Ranked matches in Call of Duty: Warzone. The game’s anti-cheat engine (Ricochet) kicks me out with an attestation error.

To be clear, my system is fully compliant with standard Windows 11 requirements:

TPM 2.0 is enabled and active.

 Secure Boot is enabled.

After doing some extensive research, the root cause is not on Activision's end, but rather a flaw in how the current HP BIOS handles the TPM Measured Boot logs. The logs are either failing validation or not being generated correctly, causing strict anti-cheat systems to flag the PC as untrusted.

This is incredibly frustrating for a high end gaming machine. The latest BIOS completely ignores TPM log issue.

Could the HP engineering team provide an official ETA on a new BIOS update that actually patches the TPM Measured Boot logs? Several users are stuck in the exact same situation and we need a real firmware fix, not a workaround.

Thank you,

Mateo

Same here on my Omen Max.  Passes wizard and everything is up to date.

Filed a ticket to Activision (through using the game does not install help topic, fyi), sent them videos and all the info.

Their reply after all of that, "We are aware of the situation and do not have timing on a solution" - note did not copy that so it might not 100% match.

Now we just have too patiently wait, and file complaints.
