These are my temps for warzone and league. Warzone I'm just in the mainmenu and already over 90% on cpu
https://prnt.sc/tm62si and league is at 88% https://prnt.sc/tm6stf
I also tried to put the fan speed at full in the omen control center and I'm not really noticing any loud noises or the speed of the fans ramping up. Is that normal? It feels like its spinning the same in all the settings, wether its max, auto or manual with the slider at full speed or low speed. What's going? This is my command center settings; https://prnt.sc/tm64ht
I ran a aida64 stress test on the cpu with Hwinfo and this is what I got ; https://prnt.sc/tmcnb4
What can I do to fix the temps? Cause for me the biggest issue seems the fans aren't going max settings or pushing at all, seems to just spin in one setting. Air is being pushed out the back and the sides, I can feel air coming out and bringing my ear close to the laptop, I can hear the fans spin but its not very loud even on max fan speed. When I first booted up this laptop and was updating everything, the fans were very loud and spinning fast, but now it doesn't even make that much noise under heavy load.
Any help?

Hi Lewis, so if you set to "Manual" control and slide to right max, yes, system will base on your PC loading and temperature sensor to control the fan speed.
it is not 100% manual, maybe 50% manual, another 50% still smart control by system. 😀
but it is really effective, to make sure energy saving, benefit for fan module life.

Hi Lewis, from your OMEN Command Center photo, the CPU temperature is 64C, it doesn't need fan to run at high speed. When you set to "Performance mode", system will run with high performance and the temperature control limit will be higher than default mode as well.
About the fan manual control, the slide is to control the max fan speed, but overall the fan speed still under system control. It means if you set to the slide to central level, the fan speed will be controlled no more higher than this setting, but if system run at low loading, the CPU/GPU temperature is low, the fan still run with lower speed. if system with heavy loading, the fan will run with high speed but will not higher than your setting slider level. If system still add stress testing, OMEN Command Center will control the CPU/GPU power to make sure fan still under your setting level. This is overall fan manual control on this product. Not sure if it is clear.

Oh that makes sense, I thought sliding it to max speed, would just set the fan speeds to full right away. So when my laptop is hitting high temps only then will the system push the fan speed to full fan speeds when the system needs it? Thanks for the reply.
I guess the high temps on less demanding games like League, is due to my room temp as well.

Uninstall the Omen command centre you have and download the new one from Microsoft App store at https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/p/omen-command-center/9nqdw009t0t5?activetab=pivot:overviewtab
