Product: OMEN X by HP 2S 15-dg0024nr

FPS drops to 20-50 while gaming with all graphics settings on low/off to optimize performance. Gone through the forums and tried every common solution: updating drivers/BIOS, makes no difference. Performance metrics indicate CPU is maxing out so I killed any running tasks with CPU usage. Wasted a ton of time with HP support. Everything is up-to-date and set to prefer performance.
