OMEN by HP 15-dc1000 Laptop PC series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Rolling on my 4'th month of Omen 15 now and the Heating issues has become more severe (Running at 97 degrees now almost constantly without gaming...) and on holiday so I am unable to hand it in. However, I am waiting for my holiday to end but during that time I have now noticed that the GPU 'is missing'

The GPU is no longer detected by the computer so when running games I run even monopoly Plus at 1 FPS and cannot seem to find a solution... Any ideas as to what happened to the GPU?

@Sofpi123,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that your computer is overheating and the GPU is missing on the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

When was the last time the computer was working fine?

Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
