Hi

 

From some google searching in understand my laptop has a 2nd 2,5 Inch HDD/SSD slot?

 

is this the case and if so i looking at adding a 2nd SSD or a HDD is this possible? and if so what drives would be compatible?

What is your Laptop 15- EC1XXX ?  For example

 

         HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec1073dx

 

Your machine should be very close and yes, depending on what it has now you can add 2.5" HDD/SSD or M.2 NVMe SSD drive to your machine.

 

You are asking for 2.5" drive, looks like your machine has M.2 SSD already therefore you can add 2.5" drive but you need

 

                Hard drive connector/cable part # L72698-001

 

Part is N/A from HP Part store nor other online stores, please try
