My HP Victus laptop experiences severe performance issues whenever it is connected to the charger. While running on battery, the CPU generally operates around 2.0 GHz and the system performs normally. However, as soon as I plug in the charger, the CPU frequency suddenly drops to approximately 0.45 GHz, causing significant lag and making the laptop almost unusable.

The issue affects normal tasks such as web browsing, file management, and general system usage. The problem occurs consistently whenever the charger is connected. I have already updated the BIOS, but the issue still persists.

I request HP support to investigate this charging-related performance problem and provide a solution.
