Hi...I want to use my PS4 on my probook 450 g2...can I use just hdmi cable for that ? Plz help 🙂
Unfortuntely no, you can't. Both of them have HDMI out and connecting 2 HDMI out ports together won't go to anywhere. This won't work and may damage both.

Hello @Aneekwagree
Ports can't be changed between output / input.
Your only 2 solutions would be to use remote play:
https://remoteplay.dl.playstation.net/remoteplay/
or to get a video capture hardand disable HDCP on your PS4:
https://www.highgroundgaming.com/best-capture-cards/
https://help.elgato.com/customer/portal/articles/1532461-turn-off-hdcp-to-use-playstation-4-with-elg...
Best regards.

You can use the PS4's Remote Play feature to connect the PS4 to your laptop https://remoteplay.dl.playstation.net/remoteplay/, but the process is a bit cumbersome.
There is another relatively simple method, which is to use an HDMI to USB C video capture dongle like https://nerdtechy.com/cloneralliance-chert-4kc-review, you can play all console games with HDMI output directly with no additional settings, plug and play.
