Please tell me the thickness of the thermal pads on the omen 17 cb1029ur laptop ?

Problem (1) HP thermal pads at HP Partsurfer are out of stock !

Problem (2) Service manual does not tell exact information

And to add to @ub6424's response, I would like to mention the following:


As to the thickness of the 38 x 38 mm thermal pad you need for your i9-9xxx, I would not go thicker than 0.5mm, and preferably choose a high quality 0.2mm pad, such as the "Thermal Grizzly Carbonaut high-tech carbon thermal pad" as seen here: https://www.thermal-grizzly.com/en/products/299-carbonaut-en.

 

Then again, please be reminded that thermal pads are not as efficient at heat transfer as thermal pastes.
