I have a very similar issue. Seems my computer won't charge when I am using it but sometimes when I close it it will charge. It says plugged in, discharging on the battery display and it loses charge very fast. I have run diagnostics, the computer said the everything was in OK condition. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the battery drivers. Nothing seems to work. I am thinking that the Omen 15 just have terrible batteries as my friend with the same computer had to have his battery replaced.

  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • What is the operating system?
  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Have you run the battery test?
