Will not power on. Checked power cord with multi meter, it’s good. Checked where the dc power cord meets board and multimeter shows power there. That’s where I need help. I tested where battery connects to the board and there is no power. Could this be a board issue? Any help is appreciated!

Hi @2deers,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
This looks like a hardware issue.
However, let's try a few steps and see if that works, if not the unit might need service.
POWER DRAIN:
Please disconnect all the devices and cables connected to your computer including the power cable and then press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds and connect the power cable back again and try to power on the computer.
CBR:
Press windows key and then followed by the key "B" this time and then the power button for around 3-4 seconds, then release the power button and continue to hold windows+B for 3-4 seconds more.
If this does not work, then this might require one-on-one interaction to fix the issue.
We have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.
I would request you to contact our HP Support Engineers who should be able to sort this out. HP provides repair or service options as well. Hence I encourage you to contact HP support
