I applied hard reset procedure (unplugged it and push the power more than 15 seconds). Still after plugging power, it didn't work. The small light next to the plug is turning on when i plugged the power.

Hi @ceteon,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP Victus 16 laptop is not turning on using the power button after attempting a hard reset. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

Check Power Supply and Connections:

  • Ensure that the power adapter is properly connected to both the laptop and the power outlet.

  • Check if the outlet is working by plugging in another device.

  • Try using a different power adapter if available, as your current adapter might be faulty.

Perform a BIOS Recovery:

  • While the laptop is off, press and hold the Windows + B keys, and then press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds.

  • Release the Power button while continuing to hold the Windows + B keys until you see the screen turn on. This might help recover the BIOS if it’s the issue.

Inspect for External Damage:

  • Check the power button and other visibly accessible areas for any signs of damage or debris that might obstruct the button's functionality.

Try a Different Power Option:

  • If your laptop supports it, try booting it with an alternative power source like a docking station or secondary battery.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
