Hi  @Ankit2005

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand how  it must be to deal with multiple issues on your notebook, charging, issue  a keyboard key has stopped working, and overall performance feels slower than before.

Kindly follow the below steps and confirm :

1.Kindly check Battery and Power

Since the laptop cannot start without charging, we need to verify battery health.

Does the battery charge up to 100% or stop early?

Try running HP Support Assistant or UEFI diagnostics test to check battery hardware .
(Run Battery Test via UEFI

  1. Shut down your laptop.
  2. Turn it back on and immediately press Esc repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
  3. Press F2 to open HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI.
  4. Select Component Tests > Power > Battery.
  5. Run the test and note the results.)

2.Test Keyboard Functionality

A single key not working may be due to driver, settings, or hardware.

Confirm if the key works in BIOS or during startup

Try an external USB keyboard to rule out software issues

Update/reinstall the keyboard driver from Device Manager

3.Address Performance Slowdown

Slowness can be caused by software, updates, or hardware stress.

Check Task Manager for high CPU or disk usage

Run Windows Update and HP Support Assistant for driver/firmware updates

Perform a disk cleanup and disable startup apps

Consider running HP Hardware Diagnostics for memory and storage

( Guide to Disk Cleanup in Windows 11 and 10 - link - Click here )\

If issues persist after these checks, Kindly share results of battery diagnostics and keyboard test and also let me know if slowness continues after cleanup

I hope this helps.
