Product: Example: Pavilion 17 NOTEBOOK-f208nx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I need some help about the RAM CAPACITY that my HP PAVILION NOTEBOOK 17-F208NX can handle because I want to increase the size of it's RAM, thank you.

Hello @Gangstor 

 

Your model can use up to 16GB (2x8) of DDR3L SoDimm memory.

If you are going to only add another 8GB stick along with the existing stick, they have to match exactly (timings and voltage) in order to prevent issues. Otherwise, I would add a whole new set.

Crucial guarantees their ram to work... https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/pavilion-17-f208nx I would highly recommend giving them a look. Even though you are not in the USA, you can find their model numbers of memory in your area perhaps?
