Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb0000 (598U8AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello HP Community,

I'm looking to upgrade the RAM in my HP Victus 15-fb0xxx laptop. I currently have 16GB of RAM installed in one slot, and the other slot is empty. However, the official HP website states that the maximum RAM supported is 16GB total.

My question is: Can I safely install another 16GB RAM stick in the empty slot, or will that cause problems?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!"

@SajjadWahid,

Your model supports 32 GB (2x16 GB). You can install a 16 GB DDR4-3200 module in the second slot.
