@Photoray002
Yes, but I deleted it because I didn't really understand what I was saying and I was nervous that I might get dragged into a discussion I don't understand lol.
I might try your suggestions tomorrow, since it's late night here. Thanks.

No worries. I'm glad you originally put that on here, details help us a lot.
FIRST: See if the temperature and if its getting over heated. If gaming, the CPU temps will go up and on an HP Omen, they might reach up into the high 80s. But if its going all the way up into the high 90's/100's (very bad), the bios update biffed something.
At that point, don't worry about turning off Hibernation, HP needs to repair the system.

I've contacted the Support Team via WhatsApp same as @flairue. They just told me to go to a service center so they can see what's the problem. I've tried explaining the problem but they kept referring me to bring my laptop to a service center.
And yes, I'll come back when it's fixed or got a solution for it.
For now, I'll disable my hibernate and see if its works.

I have the same issue after update bios to f.08
I tried to turn off hibernate, but my laptop just shut down instead of hibernate.
I think the main problem is F.08 BIOS, bcs on F.05 this issue doesnt exist.
Hope soon HP can fix it.

Hi there,
I have the same issue right now.
I tried many things for downgrade the BIOS. Nothing works here.
Roll back not working
Roll back by USB drive not working
Roll back with a new partition EFI not working.
Well, i had a contact with Support. They can't help me. I have to return the Laptop for 15 days or wait for a new BIOS patch.
I don't understand why they give us all things for downgrade if they don't give us possibility to make that.

Thanks for your updates. I will make sure this thread is sent to my channels as well.
Those that haven't, edit your posts to include the full Model or Product number of your Pavilion. The Product number is 7 digits and can be found in the HP Support Assistant. Note that using the series number of 15-ec0xxx is not the same thing.
Thanks.
