Omen x 17 - ap0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I can no longer change the lighting animations in my omen command center.   If you click one of the options and hit apply nothing happens except the apply button grays out.  For whatever reason, the static lighting options still work as intended.  If you use the fn button and then the number keys you can still change to the animations via the shortcuts.  But that is an inelegant solution as you can no longer tweak the settings of the animations.  For example I can't change the speed in the wave animation of the color in the breathing one.

I have tried both repairing the command center and uninstalling and reinstalling but no dice.  Does anyone have a way to fix this?

I should clarify, the area on the lower left where it should say theme, speed and have the basic and advanced color options is just empty.  Instead there is a message that says select an effect to begin.
