Hi,
I Purchased a Pavilion 17-cd0526na 17.3" today, being delivered to me tomorrow. I'm told it comes with 8GB Ram installed as standard. I'm assuming this will be a single ram module installed in one of (hopefully) two slots. Which brings me to my main question.. I'm assuming this machine will take advantage of dual channel mode if I install a second matching ram module. Can you confirm this?
I will be editing video clips, touching in Hi Res stills etc, dual channel ram makes a noticeable improvement in overall performance during media editing etc so your answers to the above will be extremely helpful!
Many thanks

Hi:
Below is the link to the Crucial, UK memory/SSD report for your notebook.
https://uk.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/pavilion-17-cd0526na
It has two memory slots, and each one can take a max of 32 GB according to the report.
The HP service manual at the link below states the max is 2 x 16 GB.
