Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb0000 (598U6AV)

HI!
I hope

I am experiencing a random gray screen issue on my HP Victus laptop. The gray screen appears randomly, and there is no consistent pattern to its occurrence. It primarily occurs while I'm working, with multiple applications open, such as five different browsers (often YouTube is running simultaneously), Skype, MS Teams, Excel, and Word.

Sometimes, the screen will go gray for a few seconds and then return to normal. Other times, the screen will remain gray until I restart my laptop.
The most severe scenario starts with a gray screen and then escalates. It gets crazy by flashing, showing multi-coloured screen and etc. After that the laptop cannot go into sleep mood. The display does not turn off. It simply becomes dark gray. The cooler works, so when I close the laptop and leave without charging, the battery gets low. Only way to overcome this scenario issue is to reinstall windows without losing data.

I have tried restarting my laptop, updating my drivers, and reinstalling Windows, but the problem persists. I have also run the HP Support Assistant and the HP Diagnostics tool, but neither of them found any problems with my hardware.

I even visited an HP Support office in Kyiv for a diagnostic test, but they found no issues.

I am at a loss for what to do next. I am hoping that someone in the HP community can help me troubleshoot this issue.

Additional Detail:

The gray screen issue started occurring several times per day now.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Victoria
