Sometimes it take a minute.
Go to Device Manager from the Search bar.
Under Audio, right click on the Speaker/Headphone Realtec device and go to Properties.
Click the Drivers tab.
(Yours will look similar to the photo)
What does it say?

OK, but I need my questions answered specifically. I need to know what driver number is actually installed.
Also, I see you have Steam Audio enabled.
What did you install to get that enabled? Did you only install Steam, or also OBS, Voice Meeter or something else specifically?
There might be a setting or such thats causing B&O to be MIA.

OK thanks.
That is the latest update that came from MS updates. I don't know if there is a compatability issue with it and Steam, or something else.
Go back to the Device Manager and uninstall all of the Realtek devices under Audio.
Right click on them like you did before and choose Uninstall device.
You may have to also uninstall all the Steam audio devices in there too. But you might have to reinstall Steam to add them back later. I don't know.
Then reboot the laptop.
Give it a minute and see if the B&O icon appears.
If that does not work, then Im out of ideas.
You would have to contact HP Support for a warranty issue. Then a tech can remote into your system and see if they can find the issue. They might tell you to to run an HP Recovery that reinstalls Windows.
That's up to you.
If you do, you will have to reinstall all your games again. Back up any data like photos, documents to an external drive if you don't want to lose them. The drive will be erased and reinstalled to factory specs again.
