Hi @Anuj5678

If you need to disable Virtualization-Based Security (VBS) on your HP Omen system running Windows 11 Home, please follow the steps below carefully. Restart the system whenever prompted to ensure the changes take effect.

Step 1: Disable Memory Integrity

  1. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Windows Security > Device Security.

  2. Click Core Isolation details.

  3. Turn Memory Integrity to Off.

  4. Restart the system.

Step 2: Disable VBS Using Group Policy Editor

  1. Press Win + R, type gpedit.msc, and press Enter.

  2. Navigate to:
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Device Guard

  3. Double-click Turn On Virtualization-Based Security.

  4. Set the option to Disabled, click Apply, then OK.

  5. Restart the system.

Step 3: Disable Hyper-V and Related Windows Features

  1. Open Control Panel > Programs > Turn Windows features on or off.

  2. Uncheck the following options:

    • Hyper-V

    • Virtual Machine Platform

    • Windows Hypervisor Platform

    • Microsoft Defender Application Guard

  3. Click OK and restart the system.

Step 4: Disable Hypervisor via Command Prompt

  1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator.

  2. Run the following commands one at a time:

    bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
    bcdedit /set vm No
  3. Restart the system.
