Hello,

I did the exact same steps you have mentioned. Yet, my command center is still not responding.

@Ellafy

The steps you are referring to no longer work.

Tell me the full PRODUCT number of your computer.

Its located in the HP Support Assistant from the Start menu under HP Help and Support.

Unfortunately, I can't access my Product Number through the HP Support Assistant which I downloaded Manually since for some reason it's not connecting to the HP servers. However, I found the ProdID at the bottom side of the laptop and hopefully it's what you've asked for. ProdID: 4TB71UA#ABL.

Yes that works, thanks.

Did you reinstall Windows from the Windows ISO from Microsoft or something? Just trying to determine why you say its not responding.

The old file the other person pointed you to wont work on your model. Uninstall it.

Then install the OCC from this link... Get HP Command Center - Microsoft Store

Next, install this file... OMEN Command Center SDK   sp95690.exe

Then install the HP System Event Utility  sp88257.exe

Then you need to manually force Windows to update, even if it shows its already up to date. Go to Windows Updates and click the Check for Updates button. Do it a couple of times.

Reboot the computer.

Let me know the results.

The OCC you have recommended me to download does indeed work without even going to the other steps. Yet, It only controls the thermal status of my pc and doesn't interact with my LED nor the other features that my old OCC had.

HP Recommended

Go thru the other steps including forcing Windows updates, then tell me what happens.

Also make sure its running in Windows Services.

Go to Services and look for HP Omen HSA Service and make sure its set to Running Automatic.

Then find out which bios you have. If you restart the laptop and rapidly tap F1 before windows boots, an info menu appears.

Should be version F.09

HP Recommended

Did all the steps and for some reason it's on F.05

The OCC can also be bios dependent. Download this file for version F.09 and run it. sp97145.exe

Don't have anything else running while doing this and make sure you are plugged in to the power cord when updating.

If you set up a bios or power-on password previously, go into the bios and remove that first.
