I am having the same issue. I tried running it as administrator and it was stuck on loading screen for more than half an hour. I quit all the omen processes from task manage and ran it again as admin. It opened the second time but all the screen in optimizer still say "Administrator Privilege Required". I only have one user account on my PC which is an administrator account, I am running the application via "run as admin" and still it is saying "Administrator Privilege Required". I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the application twice via microsoft store.

Hi @Blue_Dice,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  • The exact Windows version and build you’re running
  • Whether you installed Omen Gaming Hub from the Microsoft Store or HP Support site.
  • If you’ve recently applied any Windows updates or BIOS/firmware updates before this issue started.

 Troubleshooting Steps you can Try

  • Reset the App:
    • Go to Settings → Apps → Installed apps → Omen Gaming Hub → Advanced options and select Reset. This clears cached settings that sometimes cause privilege errors.
  • Check Services:
    • Ensure the Omen Gaming Hub Service and HP System Event Utility are running. You can check this by pressing Win + R, typing services.msc, and looking for those entries.
  • Run Compatibility Mode:
    • Right-click the Omen Gaming Hub shortcut → Properties → Compatibility tab → check “Run this program as administrator” and try setting compatibility to Windows 10.
  • Reinstall with HP Support Assistant:
    • Instead of the Microsoft Store, try downloading Omen Gaming Hub directly from HP’s support website or through HP Support Assistant. This ensures you get the latest HP-certified build.
  • Check User Account Control (UAC):
    • Go to Control Panel → User Accounts → Change User Account Control settings. Make sure it’s not set to “Never notify,” as this can sometimes interfere with privilege elevation.

I hope this helps.
