Hi!
Quick question regarding this matter, I have the 15-ce012np.
Does the aftermarket 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4 2400 MHz C16 260 Pin SODIMM work stable with this Motherboard, CPU?
Going a bit further, how about higher frequencies, like a 32 GB 260 pin DDR4-2666MHz, SO-DIMM, PC4-2666V-S (1x32GB) slot and upgrade it with 64GB RAM?
I'm just considering my options at the moment,
Thank you,
Francisco

No guarantees on 32GB memory upgrade. The manual states its only good up to 16GB total with the slots only supporting up to 8GB each.
Looking into it further, Crucial's memory finder also only supports only 16GB total and since they guarantee their ram to work, they will only guarantee up to 2x8GB per slot also.
I would say since you already have the max installed, that is as good as it will get. If you want to try more, do so at your own risk if the new ram cannot be returned.

Hi, Francisco:
To answer the second part of your question...
Below is the link to the processor specs your notebook has.
It cannot run the memory any faster than 2400 MHz, so installing 2666 MHz memory would not do anything to increase performance. The 2666 MHz memory would just downclock to 2400 MHz.
I agree with Photoray002 regarding how much memory you can upgrade to.
Usually Crucial will give you the highest capacity you can install--even if the HP service manual says less.
When Crucial indicates that 16 is the max, you can pretty much count on that as being correct.
However, it's your money, and if you want to try and upgrade to 2 x 16 GB, it would be a good experiment.
While the Intel specs state the processor can take up to 64 GB of memory, I would not attempt to install 2 x 32 GB when no one shows that even 2 x 16 GB would work.
