So basically my Omen 15t laptop turned on with rgb lighting on its red dragon keyboard and then stopped, tried to fix it on omen command but the it had limited options and didn't have the lighting option.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
Let's update the command center from Windows store and check whether it resolves the issue.
- Click the Windows Store icon in the system tray.
- Search for OMEN Command Center.
- Click Update. Wait while the program downloads and installs.
- Click Play.
- OMEN Command Center opens.
