HP Omen 15 2020
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I owned HP omen 15 (2020) from the last few weeks my laptop was overheating while gaming. So I decided to change thermal paste and I replaced the thermal paste  and all done well and at last I observed thermal pad on some small components (located beside the left fan not the GPU or CPU) was little bit outside so I am about to push that one to the inner side with my screwdriver when I pointed near to it there is a spark occurs and I got feared about my PC because I replaced the thermal paste with battery and all other modules connected except heat sink and fans. The spark only occurred at last after finishing all the procedure, when arranging thermal pad. After that I turned on laptop and it turned on and all working fine, even I ran the HP hardware diagnostic tool no fault found and battery also working good, I am only worried about the motherboard because of the spark, will it give any problem in future. Please tell me.

Note: My room temperature at that time was low because of the AC.

Hello
If this would have been serious, the computer would most certainly already have broken down.
if since everything works that the tests are ok, no worries I think ..

A bios update is not without risk!
Be aware that if you are offered to do so, it will be at your own risk, the computer may become unusable, think about it
