Hey Y'all.
I have an HP Omen 17-w295nr. It is the version with a i7-7700HQ, GTX 1050 TI, 16gb RAM, 256gb SSD, and 1tb HDD.
Hopefully a few simple questions. I want to upgrade the SSD and the HDD. So, a few questions:
What are the size/formats of the two drives? Sata? M.2? What is the format for the drives so I purchase the correct types?
How do I replace them? Is there a video someone could link?
And the biggest question, which may be inappropriate for this forum, but...
How do I migrate Windows 10 to the newer, larger SSD? I plan on having the new drives internal and putting the two that I remove into external bays and connecting them via USB if possible. Hopefully, that makes sense.
Thanks.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05852036
which does not say anything about 256gb SSD. You can use Device Manager to check it out.
For M.2 SSD: You can use Crucial P1 or Samsung 970 EVO ... to upgrade M.2 SSD slot. For example
https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/hp-omen-17-w295nr/CT13041177 (500GB)
https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/hp-omen-17-w295nr/CT13043891 (1TB)
For HDD: You can replace with 2TB 2.5" HDD or SSD, for example
https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/hp-omen-17-w295nr/CT11816483 (2TB)
I can't find a video but a manual called Maintenance and Service Guide on the following link will help

Regards.
