Hi @Mehmet99,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

It sounds like there might be an issue with how your laptop is handling lower resolutions in games. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:

Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date. You can usually do this through the device manager or by visiting the HP website (e.g., NVIDIA, AMD, Intel) and downloading the latest drivers for your specific graphics card model.

Check Game Settings: Sometimes, games have specific settings related to resolution and fullscreen mode. Make sure that the game is set to run in fullscreen mode and that the resolution matches your screen's native resolution (1920x1080 for your laptop).

Restart the Game: After changing the resolution, try restarting the game to see if the issue persists.

Check Windows Display Settings: Ensure that your Windows display settings are set to the native resolution of your laptop's screen. Right-click on the desktop, select "Display settings," and adjust the resolution if necessary.

Check for Background Applications: Sometimes, background applications can interfere with fullscreen mode. Try closing any unnecessary applications before running the game.

Run the Game in Compatibility Mode: Right-click on the game's shortcut, select "Properties," go to the "Compatibility" tab, and try running the game in compatibility mode for an older version of Windows.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, there may be a more specific problem with how your laptop handles lower resolutions in games. In that case, you may want to contact HP phone support. They will help you via remote assistance.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

I don't want to play with 1920x1080 resolution because of fps issues in games. But i can't playing with lower resolutions and i saw that other HP Victus laptops has same problem. Also when i used alt+tab in game, i can't reconnecting to game and the game always being to minimize.

Hi @Mehmet99,

Thank you for performing the recommended steps, I see that it has not helped.

Well, in this case, I recommend you contact the game manufacturer for further assistance.
