I had purchased HP Omen 16 laptop in Oct 2025, since a month Im facing this issue where while working my laptop shows this error on screen and restarts. Im facing loss of work with no permanent solution from HP have been taking follow ups. They are unable to help and now even though the laptop is under warranty they are suggesting a replacement of motherboard. Since yesterday the fan of the laptop is continuously on.

I have attached a picture of the error, the HP help support says they cannot replace the laptop. Pl adviceWhatsApp Image 2026-06-24 at 1.20.00 PM.jpeg

That shows an nvidia error occurred.  I started getting that on my RTX-5070 card and solved it with an NVIdia update.

First press F2 when booting and run the GPU diagnostics to see if there is a real hardware problem.

I assume the diagnostics work and the problem is windows.  You may need either the latest driver from NVidia or your need to put in the original driver that came with your laptop.

See if the original driver works. I assume a windows update installed the wrong driver.

Go here and enter your product ID, select windows 11 software and install the NVidia driver.
