HP Omen 15-ax205na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

My HP Omen laptop is having some quite annoying sound problems. The laptop is new and is generally performing well so I do not see how or why it should be having these glitch-like sounds straight out of the box.

What I have tried

I'd really appreciate any help you can offer

James

Hi,

I have the solution for anyone who needs it. It worked for me.

1. Go on the Device Manager

2. Disable ALL sound drivers

3. Enable ALL sound drivers

4. You should get a prompt asking you to Restart now, click Restart later

5. Restart via Rightclicking Windows Flag then Shut down or Sign Out >

6. Click Restart

I do not know why this specifically worked for me but it did

Second Solution

1, Disconnect your laptop from AC (charging)

2. Restart via Rightclicking Windows Flag then Shut down or Sign Out >

3. Click Restart
