Hi!

I'm using a Victus 16-s1019nt notebook with a 512 GB SSD. I'm considering replacing the SSD with a 2TB one. I've heard some rumors that the laptop only supports up to 1TB. I want to know if that's true or if I can use a 2TB SSD without any issues.

Thanks.

Hi:

Theoretically there is no limit to the storage capacity of a NVMe SSD you can install.

The service manual indicates that HP offered NVMe SSDs up to 1 TB in storage capacity, but that is just what they offered, not the maximum capacity supported.

I can't think of any reason why you couldn't replace the 512 GB SSD with a 2 TB drive.

The Crucial memory report for the model series indicates that they sell NVMe SSD's up to 4 GB in storage capacity.
